PURPOSE

Your opportunity to put questions to public figures about matters of concern. It may even be possible to set up a Yoosk focused on the interests and needs of blind and partially sighted citizens, with leading figures answerable and responsive.

ASSUMPTIONS

Running Thunder screenreader software from www.screenreader.net or any other screenreader software, the WebbIE browser from www.webbie.org.uk and with www.yoosk.com on screen.

What follows works well for those not able to see the writing on screen. If you prefer magnification, press Control + I (Image) and you can select the print size you choose by mouse-clicking on the magnifying glass at the top of the screen. Click on one of the other top of screen icons to restore the original size. Control + I toggles between the text and the image presentation of websites.

Press CURSOR DOWN to hear the many topics covered in alphabetical order and press ENTER to take you to the page which interests you.

KEYS TO PRESS TO LOG IN

CURSOR DOWN to hear "login", "username" and then "text input box 2" and press ENTER. Type yourself a username and press ENTER.

Then CURSOR DOWN to hear "password", Then to "password Input 1" and press ENTER.

CURSOR DOWN to hear "submit" and press ENTER and you will get a message acknowledging that you have logged in.

KEYS TO PRESS to place your own question

At the Yoosk homepage, Press F6, Function Key 6 and then CURSOR Up and Down to hear "Text Input Box 1 enter person’s name and click Button on right". You can ignore the click button bit. Just type in the name of the celebrity you are questioning, TAB to hear "OK" and press ENTER.
